It doesn't really seem like the family is blaming CoD4 all that much. The only mention of the game is that short exert you have. IMO it's kind of unfair and misleading to claim "Call of Duty 4 Blamed in Missing Marine Case" when all the family said was "[CoD4] may have triggered some unpleasant war memories."
I'm not really up to date on EA's money problems but if they are at the point of closing offices and major layoffs they probably can't afford not to release a finished game.
Why bother bringing some longstanding feud b/w soldier and yourself to this thread? I don't know, maybe the guy really is a rampant fanboy...but imo his op here doesn't reflect that.

The only thing malicious about this post is the "LOL" which I don't really have a problem overlooking b/c he clearly said "in my book". Telling the guy that his opinion doesn't count just makes you come across as a total jerk. What's worse is that you admit to trying to draw him into a flame war just to show he's a fanboy. If the guy's as much of an idiot as you say just ignore him and let his posts speak for themselves.
(And now for a bit of a tangent...) It's my opinion that opinions can't be supported by facts. ;)
