I mean this constructively -- it's not that your questions were inadequate, but it is that your interview subject is a PR shill with nothing but fluff spin to contribute, and also that you did not ask follow-up questions to press any of his statements.

Insist on interviewing someone with decision power, not their spokesmens' spokesman.
