| What a load of bullshit, haha. Gaming gives a similar high to cocaine? What kind of comment is that?
Either this idiot Steve Pope has never used cocaine, or he has never played a video game. More likely, he has done neither. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Shit, so it's going to be like the old Fallouts? Not really my genre... I just liked Fallout 3.
EDIT: oh, okay, it's still using the same engine and style and everything as Fallout 3. Right on. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I have nothing against hacking consoles (my Wii is hacked) in principle, but of course we all know what this is going to be primarily used for - stealing games. It seems that "hacked" or "modded" and "software piracy" are almost synonymous in the world of video game consoles, and that's too bad. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | The reason why the Wii has so few good multi-platform games is because it is significantly less powerful than the XBox 360 and PS3. If a new Wii comes out that's more powerful, the competition is going to have to catch up or surpass it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Sweet, now I can run System Shock 2 and Half-Life with twice the amount of AA I could before! :P
Honestly, I can't tell the difference between 8x and 16x... this is pretty useless even for old games. Flag this | Edit this post |

| "When you look at some really well made games that treated the PC platform as first class instead of an afterthought they weren't pirated to hell and back."
The first game that comes to mind since the coming of torrents is Crysis... and that game was pirated so bad that CryTek got pissed off and decided to start making multiplatform games. The primary reason people pirate games isn't because they're protesting - it's because it's so easy to get games for free without any consequences.
"Of course, there's still the large freeloader base, but keep in mind if consoles didn't have a booming used games market and game rentals piracy would be pretty high, too, if not as high as the PC."
I think that the main reason why PC piracy is more common than console piracy is because the average console gamer doesn't know how to or is afraid to mod their console. If console piracy were as easy as PC piracy, I'm certain that piracy would worse than on PC. Flag this | Edit this post |
