| After building my recent PC, re-using the largest tower I've ever seen with water cooling... Something very small like this will definitely be my next build.
(I got a new desk and the damn tower wouldn't even fit in the "PC" area, I cut out the back and it still over hangs in the front -_-) Flag this | Edit this post |

| First the 5 was a low random number I pulled out of my ass, 2nd how else are you going to get a product from the store to home?
Everything going to be on a USB drive for free with the game? Again, the link to wanting a physical product you can touch and hold isn't going anywhere for awhile. Optical media is _dirt_ cheap for $/gig $/tbyte. Flag this | Edit this post |

| No optical drive? Why do people believe this?
I don't see these being removed for atleast 5 more generations. It's not like its a high cost hardware component and I don't care how fast or adopted broad band is, I still want a hard copy of a game I pay $60 for. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I still don't understand how companies fail to grasp this concept:
Just because someone pirated the game DOESN'T mean they were going to buy it in the first place anyways!!! Do what Blizzard does, make a simple CD check and offer some kick ass online service (Bnet) or some other feature you can only get by purchasing the game and people that will actually pay for the game are that much more likely to buy. | Never said a monopoly was illegal. Second if you think Madden is at a fair price you are fooling yourself. Why you'd think otherwise is beyond me.
I guess if AMD went away, Intel chip pricing would stay right where it is now.
I'm done here. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Madden game cost - $19 or $29, times that by the number of games sold, then multiplied by competitor's market share is a way to quantify the cost.
But there is a cost when they are charging 20-40% above the market rate because of the monopoly. Flag this | Edit this post |

| If you are spending countless hours fustrated by video games, I think you are the one that needs help.
Calling something by name when it clearly isn't just doesn't make sense. Basketball, football w/e. What period are we in??? Flag this | Edit this post |

| I don't think you have to be a "fan boy" to realize intel is far ahead of AMD. My last two CPU's were AMD, but starting this year I got myself a E8400.
While you'll have your 6 cores, intel already has 8.
I like AMD, but at top end, they don't compare.
