» Gigabyte Card overheats
just bought the gigabyte GTX 275 and it was running temps around 68 to 75 degrees C when gamming :( so i removed heat sink then unscrewed plastic cover off heat sink, then cut thru the plastic cover and left only the fan, this was screwed back on, then relocated heat sink back on card and installed a $20 dual Fan the type that plugs into a PCI Slot ! as close to heat sink as i could ..... card now runs at 36 degrees C on idle and 43-45 C under game load......Get a MSI or zotac card without the plastic cover all over cooler fins....!!!> Flag this | Edit this post |
