I just can't believe this... The Playstation 3 is initially released with both full Playstation2 support and linux support. And now look at it! It has neither PS2 support or linux support! What the heck man?! every time they 'upgrade' it they really just remove something. Are you telling me people actually buy into this?! I have had an xbox360 for a year or two now, and I have been generally disappointed with it (no built in wifi, no free internet, overheating issues, games lock up) so I was thinking about buying a PS3, mainly so I can watch my matroska mkv files though a linux setup, on the tv without having to convert everything, play my PS2 games and maybe watch a blu-ray movie every now and then. But NOOO can't do THAT can we? Could like 3 years ago but not now... And for all you slaves saying just buy a PS2, are you serious?! It is something the damn thing ALREADY HAD, and they REMOVED IT. It's not like it would take a technical mastermind to implement. Do you want to clog up your space by having TWO consoles instead of just one? I guess I either have to search for an OLDER PS3 or look for something else entirely, seeing as how I was also disappointed with the psp (I'm not even going into THAT), I may never buy a PS3 now...
