Lol, you have so failed at playing this game right.
Supreme Commander is the most tactical RTS ever made, a billion times mroe than Star- or Warcraft.
Its massive scale allows you for tactical movement (newsflash: you can zoom out the map) and to move squads like you move single units in other RTS games. Oh, you want to run around with little single space marines to have some micromanagement fun? Ever heard of experimental units?
If we played against each other and you just mindlessly through all your units against me, I would win in a matter of minutes.
