Looks cool; I like games that give you a ton of options on how to get things done and lots of mobility.
But... does the player seem very overpowered to anybody else? Using all of those powers he just hops around murdering everybody. Maybe that's just because we're watching a dev play his own game, or maybe it's an early level or something...
Nice writeup. I think I dismissed this game when it came out: "Is this related to Divine Divinity? What a stupid name!". Will look to pick it up when it goes on sale.
Hyperbole sure is fun! Anyway, I didn't have any issues with the trailer; but on the other hand I'm already planning on playing the game so probably a bit biased.
Yay for large ad budgets! I've never been this excited for so many games that I probably won't buy. I do have a soft spot for Tomb Raider games though, maybe I will pick this one up.
Looks good but I really don't like the challenge and achievement things that pop up in-game. Takes away from the feel of it and makes it more arcade-y.
I like the idea but the whole thing had better be able to work just as well with a controller that has a cracked screen. I can see young children dropping them and adult children throwing them.
I liked it. Decent gameplay but the main draw was probably the graphics; you can tell they spent a lot of time on the artwork. A few gripes but for the price I really have no complaints. The graphics on this 2nd one look better than the first, and it looks like they puzzles are more thought-out this time.
I saw in another review that the skill-tree system has been dumbed down, as well as how you can equip your party... I liked both in the previous game, and I like in-depth systems in other games. Does dumbing it down hurt the game much?
