I always wonder about the people with the handicap permits, jumping down from the driver's seat of their jacked up pickup. They don't seem too handicapped to me. :-/ Pretty easy to get one of those from your doctor now.
It made the news because he was already known before dying. He didn't become famous for dying. He still isn't really famous. Bit of a stretch to compare him to a Darwin Award winner. They generally think things like "I bet I can fly with these feathers taped to my arms", not "I need to do something to try and save my family".
What, are you kidding? People sue for their own stupidity all the time. "But the bottle didn't say not to drink the motor oil... how was I to know?!" People will keep suing because it works pretty often.
