| I love my Wing Commander, but it scares me how many apologists there are for this game. Defending it despite how much it's NOT like the Wing Commander we knew and loved.
It just blows my mind that people would be THAT desperate for anything with the Wing Commander logo on it Flag this | Edit this post |

| "insert standard comment about how having to pay for Xbox live on top of internet access is ridiculous and that PC games have no such additional fees to download videos and demos"
that being said, if I AM willing to pay for the service, you better believe I should get priority over someone who hasnt Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I fucking hate the Reps, but shit like this proves that neither party really gives a shit about your average American. Just childish mudslinging on both ends. Dems would be just as corrupt and embroiled in scandal if the shoe was on the other foot. Flag this | Edit this post |

| my point though is that the article claims that they have changed ONLY the EULA. So that yeah, their legalese says you can't transfer more than once, but what, if anything, is in place to actually *enforce* this new EULA?
EULAs say lots of things, not everything in the EULAs are actually enforced or upheld in court. Flag this | Edit this post |

| True, G4 so had a chance to nail him, but while it was nice to see Adam Sessler not acting the bitch to Morgan Webb. He unfortunately still came off as the village idiot.
The only guy that came off as rational was the one gamesite manager in the middle. Flag this | Edit this post |

| he's just copying me. We need some old school Wing Commander or Xwing\TIE Fighter avatars.
It would be hard to resist an avatar of Ginger Lynn Allen as Chief Tech Rachel Coriolis
or Tolwyn? Flag this | Edit this post |

| I didn't care for Colbert at first. It just seemed too absurd. I knew it was all part of the act to parody fox news, but it still irritated me.
I'm slowly warming back up to it however. I just have to always remind myself that he's just playing a scene. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | if the company is going as far as to invite them to recreate it to prove it was natural. I'm thinking that it wasn't doctored. Poor kid, even if she was dressed like a slut with her shirt open like that. She doesn't deserve to be in the middle of this. Flag this | Edit this post |

| we all decry it and say that it was horrible...but yet, its plastered all over youtube and we're all watching it over and over.
If they were serious about trying to send a message that this sort of behavior is not desired, it would not be all over the news in Hi Def played over and over and analyzed...they would just say there was a fight and not show the footage. The details of who started what are nobody's business except the staff, the players involved, and the families. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Yeah, I use steam and I have to admit, its been relatively painless, but when I can get a hard copy of HL2 for way cheaper than Steam...then tell me what exactly is the point of having that service for a single player game?
oh yeah..thats right..they're forcing me to. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Jedi Powers have undergone feature creep over the years. they started out as merely telekinesis and prescience. but as time goes by, we're shown Jedi that are more and more powerful than the last to the point that they are virtually demi-gods. It gets boring.
I thought the Mace Windu vs everyone scene was just so over the top and grandiose...I found myself sympathetic for the bad guys. On one hand, yeah its just a cartoon for kids...but still. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I am as well. I'm just afraid that, after watching the preview video on XBL marketplace that the game is a little too much like KOTOR/Jade Empire. Not that that is a bad thing as KOTOR/Jade is awesome, but I just wish they'd do something different Flag this | Edit this post |

| I just don't see anyone jumping on this except the early adopters or the idiots who just don't know what this means and end up not being able to run it.
They have to know that that those power requirements are just simply unreasonable for most people.
But hey..I guess I just don't get why anyone would want to run SLI in the first place. I mean I understand wanting the best, but that much money, for only a small increase in graphics power. I mean it doesn't make the game look any prettier...I just don't get it, but people are apparently lapping this shit up. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I have no real problem with digital delivery, but I would rather have a hard copy. just simply because of the potential of abuse. Cuz yeah sure, we supposedly have Valve's word of honor that should they go under, they'll release a patch or whatever that will make all their games playable without steam. But you know what...all it takes is some other company to buy Valve and decide, "you know what Mr. Consumer, fuck you, you're paying per month now bitch...accept it, or lose the game you already paid for." either that or just flip a switch and shut off steam and forget all those games existed
Granted...thats all under the realm of the absurd..the odds of something like that happening are low due to the outrage and negative PR it would generate....but still...its a possibility. Valve's word means nothing if they get taken over. Flag this | Edit this post |
