i also agree
this game should be on every tv station and magazine and
website, without so much work, its a masterpiece.imo. :)
about placebo,your correct,such a shame ,sometimes company employ a
member of forum, for me it will never work because they have to much
history in argue and dislike.when he was in original he didnt like
mainstream, now he has to ,because they make arma more mainstream.
recently somebody asked to regroup from old days on bis forums,so
they can get ready for arma, instead of making a sticky, so more
people can get together and start again with ArMa. he locked the
topic. this his what he said.
Perhaps someone should launch a FlashpointReunited website,
certainly it would be a more appropriate place for tracking people
down than the BIS forums.<<< the maker of the god !%&$ game
its a real shame.they ask sometime wheat you want to change from
ofp. i know my wish ;) staff change :) i may do a campaign lol

I agree.
What BIS needs is a publisher, fast! What they have done to get a
publisher these last few months is hard to say, but time is running
out. Though I do understand they want the best offer.
Looking forward to E3. Let's hope a publisher will arrive at last.

I hope they can upgrade the graphics a bit. A previous poster is
right: the game graphically looks very similar to the old engine.
My hope is to play an OpFlash style game with BF2 level graphics.

Myself [XeLSiS] being a modder as well as a Clan Commander for OFP,
this interview re-assures me in the sense that BIS will ship Tools
& Release Tools with Docs on Mod Toold and the improvement in
netcode to allow finally a perfect CTI where we can have HUGE
battles with other players/squads (depending on what is goin on e.g.
clan match or such). Other interviews havent been released that
little key info about that stuff.
I give this Interview 9/10 on Informing.
Thx BIS & firingsquad.com!

This game should own. OFP was the best games I ever played. It was
the best combat simulation I have ever played by far. IMO it still
has not been matched as far as realism and immersion. Playing BF2 is
such a letdown if you have played OFP.
Also like a previous poster mentioned, the Armed Assualt forums are
a complete joke. You cannot create hype for a game when the forum is
moderated to the point noone bothers posting as all relevant
questions, ideas, etc gets locked. Also, they release information
like this is some type of Mossad covert operation.

The game looks great, too bad they're having trouble finding a
publisher.

Fantastic interview there, the best one so far imo about this
upcoming game, although it has to be said that, even tho statham
repeatedly praises the "community" in many magazines, i
think it has been a very poor show from his department on keeping
them informed about arma and has done nothing to help stability and
high quality, educated postings in the BI forums being continued it
has developed into a farce and has seen many simply stop bothering
to post at all. Bis studio is a fantastic software house and has
always looked after its, customers they released o2 addon making
software ,com refs for scripters and many more .and there games in
this theatre will never come 2nd. however that been said and i think
it reflects in the fact that this fantastic game has no
publisher. The PR at Bis is very unprofessional and at best poor .
Yours
An OFP Fan from the start to present day

I liked Operation Flashpoint. This game seems to use the same engine
with DX9 extensions and HDR but it still looks the same as it's
counter part.
