Tiger Woods Out...Until August!

| | (Post a comment) » Battlefield 2 Mods Used By Islamic Militants? This Reuters story reports that US officials told a Congressional panel Thursday that Islamic militants have created mods for the hit multiplayer shooter Battlefield 2 that attack the US and lure youths to their cause. Here is a snip:
"Battlefield 2" ordinarily shows U.S. troops engaging forces from China or a united Middle East coalition. But in a modified video trailer posted on Islamic Web sites and shown to lawmakers, the game depicts a man in Arab headdress carrying an automatic weapon into combat with U.S. invaders.
SAIC executive Eric Michael said researchers suspect Islamic militants are using video games to train recruits and condition youth to attack U.S.-led coalition forces in Iraq. | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

Islam does not allow visual reperesentation of "religous
figures". There is nothing in the Koran that says you are not
allowed to broadcast, paint, model, draw, etc...the average person.
There are some Christian sects that consider the dipection of Jesus
to be blasphemas others like Catholics have no problem with such
activites. It's all in how you read the text and put your spin on
it.

"If it was so historically accurate, why didn't the terrorists
create their own 3D graphics engine and physics system, with online
multiplayer action of up to 64 players?" What kind of
reasoning is that?!

Fortunately, all they can learn from BF2 is that it
sucks to be a foot soldier.

Battlefield 2 is now official a WMD. As of right now us military
forces are closing in on electronic arts. Deliberation was over
before it started and the war with the small country of electronic
arts is closing in. Comments from bush state that the CEO of EA has
been unfairly working their employees to death and admist many
request for UN inspectors to visit their computers to check for
battlefield remnants have been rejected. In other news the country
and microsoft and the county of linux have finally settled their
differences. Their new nation is yet to be named but many say it
will open source.

If it was so accurate why didn't the terrorists think up and develop
their own game. It's typical of terrorists to copy and steal from
others in order to murder women and children.

So this is finally where Bush will find his WMD's. We had to attack
them to prevent them from killing our gamers with virtual nuclear
bombs. :)
