 Tiger Woods Out...Until August!

| | (Post a comment) » E3 2006: Shadowrun Game Confirmed For PCWe have arrived in Los Angeles and just finished making a quickie tour of the downtown convention center as preparations are still underway for getting it ready for the exhibit halls to open for E3 this Wednesday. Just inside the lobby of the South Hall were signs attached to support beams for several games that will be on display at Microsoft's Games for Windows exhibit and one of them was none other than for Shadowrun, the long rumored adaptation of the cyberpunk pen-and-paper RPG. Since it's attached to the Games For Windows exhibit we have to assume it's coming for the PC (some rumors of a Shadowrun game had it as an Xbox 360 only title). We will be posting up some pictures we took outside and inside the LA Convention Center shortly. | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

Yeah, shadowrun for the SNES was a great game.
It would be cool if they could make it for PC
the same way but of course with better graphics.

I cant believe what a load of crap this game is. I just hope it
doesnt sell much cause its nothing less than a ripoff. Nothing
shodwrun about it, just a crappy looking fps title with nothing to
do with the universe i have come to enjoy so much.

Having played the pen & paper(3rd edition) for about 5 years
now....I think there is a lot of potential out there for many styles
of game play i.e. mmorpg, fps, rpg. Personally, I would prefer
something like Fallout(time-based or not), 3rd person rpg like KOTOR
would be kicka$$. I think a mmorpg would work, but I can't stand
mmorpgs. A fps would be cool too but it would have to be like Deus
Ex, or Elder Scrolls. I as well enjoyed the SNES version. And I
agree with Anakaris.... It better not suck.

I'd prefer it to become an RPG like Planescape:Torment.
