Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I read somewhere that the
second card in your SLI setup doesn't have to be the most powerful
card in the setup since it's not actually doing the main graphics
processing. You don't necessarily have to buy two 7900GTX OC'D B1G
B4LLZ NiTROGYN (c) cooled cards if your groovin' for Isaac Newton
frag action. A cheaper budg or mid-priced card (7600GT,GS? etc.)
would set you straight with Havok and NVIDIA from what I vaguely
recall..
Like I said, correct me if I'm wrong, misinformed, mistaken or just
missed the point completely

iirc you can use two different cards with ati's havok implementation
so you could just leave your old video card in for physics and use
your newest one for graphics - that's more or less free [ebay income
from the old card not withstanding].

Its not free if you only have one card. you still gonna have to
spend money because havocFX will be for people with SLI. Either way
people with single cards are still screwed.
I not buying another video card to have it turn into something it
isnt. I go for the PPU before i buy a video card to use havocfx.

I think you guys miss the point. The increased entertainment factor
from watching grown men trying to b*tch slap each other is what the
physics competition is all about...

Now if only all these physics engines had a game thats worth a sh!t
to put their engine into. Cause Ghost Recon 3 turned out to be a
joke and the list of other games is also a complete comedy hour.
