» Uwe Boll Sues Distributors Of BloodRayne Movie

The movie may have gotten almost no good critical response but this GameSpot story reports that BloodRayne director and producer Uwe Boll is now suing the film's distributor Romar Entertainment for alledgedly not releasing the movie in 2,000 screens on Jan 6 along with not paying the producer their share of the gross receipts and not using $10 million that Boll's own production company supposedly gave Romar to advertise and promote BloodRayne. GameSpot has quotes from Romar's co-founder James Schramm who says that his company is preparing their own lawsuit against Boll for reportedly pulling Romar's name from the DVD release of BloodRayne among other actions (ironically BloodRayne co-star Billy Zane is another co-founder of Romar). Here is a snip where Schramm pretty much slams Boll for his actions:
"His behavior is so out of whack, I don't even care what other movies he's doing," Schramm said. "I don't want to have anything to do with his company or him...Hollywood doesn't need someone like that. Hollywood doesn't need someone who's coming in from another country and demanding their way of doing things, and then in dealing with honest people like us, just taking advantage of us. He complains so much about people stealing from him and taking from him, and the one and only company that's left in Hollywood, us, that have done good business with him, now he's screwing us."

» WHY?
Why is he allowed to make movies if he's so terrible? What has he done in the past that makes the studios believe he can do justice to any film at all?

» Lord help us
He is producing the film "Far Cry" now, and it is not sticking to the story. One of the best games in PC gaming history is going to be utterly destroyed!

You consider Far Cry one of the best games in history? Have you not owned a NES or SNES or even a PSone in the past?

However, we all feel each others pain on this one. So I would advise you all to sign a petition to stop the advancement of this disasterpiece which only Uwe Boll can achieve

I guess you missed the part about "PC game" there. Also he is making a Postal movie "adaptation", which means it has nothig to do with the game though it is named after it.

Oops I did miss the PC part. But still for me personally, I would have a tough time knocking it into the top 10 if not 20. Unless it was for graphics.

The story was meh, the physics and graphics were good though.

It did come out so unadvertised that I completely forgot it had even made it to the local theaters until it'd already left the dollar theaters.
