| Of course there won't be a Playstation4 since in Asia (esp. China and Japan the number 4 is bad luck). They will just call it something else...
Also i'll stick to my arguement that the home console industry can only support 2 players due to the market. One of the 3 will be eaten by attrition - and its NOT gonna be Nintento :P (fanboy here)» Login to reply to this |

| » Nonsense The PS3 launch titles don't look promising? Sure, I'll agree that Resistance is pretty mcuh the only exclusive that really looks great for us North Americans. But PS3 also has a full line of quality multi-platform titles at launch.
What exclusives does the 360 have this season? Gears of War and that's it. IMO, PS3 easily matches 360 in software this season while the PS2 and PSP have much better game lineups.
Overall, this is just another predictably anti-Sony article from a heavily biased and opinionated anti-Sony pro-360 pro-Wii site.» Login to reply to this |

| Personally, I thought the article was pretty investigative and informative for a dedicated game site. I mean this isn't the AP blowing the lid off some secret CIA prison scandal. The author had quite a few good, relative comments from people connected to the industry that have experience in the field. From game designers to the "money-men" that raised both good and bad points with the PS3.
For the guy that said the article is biased towards MS, I say provide us with a little news you consider to be positive regarding Sony's latest announcements. This is a forum after all. People either provide opinions or links to other people's opinions/facts. In the words of a nutcase actor, "Show me the money." Don't just ask to be spoon-fed someone else's positive spin.
I really couldn't care what Sony does because, regardless of their choices I'm not dropping $600 to play console games. I already have a killer PC rig, so there is no point for me. UNLESS... and this is pretty much true for ANY gaming system (PC, XBOX, PS3, Wii), there are some really killer games that come out for said platform. I'm a gamer first and a brand loyalist second. I think that too many people base their opinions on brand loyalty and pass over the selection of real, solid, bug-free, *FUN* games.
Just my two cents, but I couldn't give a shit about processing speed, optical format, resolution, or any other marketing ploy unless there are genuinely good games to be played. Where's the focus on what game consoles are really for? Games.» Login to reply to this PitbulI (180) Sep 07, 2006 - 09:37 pm
| I'm hoping for a Tekken 360 game. Oh that would be sweet. Namco already makes a few other games for the 360 eh? Why not Tekken, that would be nice. It might upset Team Ninja though. Oh well, keep the games non exclusive.
The article was alright, it didn't paint Sony in a bad light, it just brought to light all the speculation from the media and what could happen.
Japan will make the PS3 a success there. Sony fan boys in North America will make it a success here. Too many people hate MS for some stupid reason they don't understand and that's too bad. Having competition is a good thing.» Login to reply to this |
