Good call man, too bad this thing cost more than a PS3/360 combined. 2 year contract is too long in the cell phone business, by that time this thing will look like an Amiga computer. Other chips from Broadcom, Marvell, and Cambridge Silicon Radio are also purported to be in the new iPhone. All of this is still early speculation from insider sources and not public announcement. You should take a look at last year's 2006 WWJD article; those comments still stand. The "emerging markets" list hasn't changed in terms of mobile devices at #1, movies/film at #2, and medical imaging at #3. NVIDIA's strategy is still active in #1, which is the focus of today's article. #2 is mostly status quo with NVIDIA pursuing Bollywood as well. When #1 stabilizes, they may go for Matrox or another similar company to grab #2 and 3.
