| » Man... iD has lost touch with gamers everywhere. The Quake series has to be the worst series to base a game around. Quake 1 sucked, Quake 2 was better but still sucked compared to any other FPS , the only saving grace was its multiplayer... Quake 3... They finally realize quake is about the multiplayer. Quake 4 - Return to the land of FPS gayness, with a hybrid between Doom 3 and the Quake universes, the game felt strangely weird.
Finally Quake wars... if we hadn't had enough "QUAKE(TM)" already shoved down are throats the corporate asshats wonder why we don't buy their games. Quake singleplayer = The suck!!!» Login to reply to this CAG-Spitfire (489) Apr 03, 2007 - 03:49 pm | Edited on Apr 03, 2007 - 03:53 pm
| | Well, I'm confused about what your argument is? ETQW is all about the multiplayer, not single player, so "Quake singleplayer = The suck!!!" is kind of, um, irrelevant perhaps? By your logic, you should be saying "Quake multiplayer = t3h awsome!!!" » Login to reply to this |

| | Sceenshots look awsome. I'm kind of burned out with online games though and dealing with dumbshit 13 year olds and "professional" gamers who play 13 hours a day so that I have no chance to even remotely compete on their level much less have an enjoyable time. If it had even a small story mode or campaign or even a decent bot tournament ala Quake3 I'd probably pick it up. Online only? I'll probably pass. » Login to reply to this |
