Every time I look at the new top ten list, I wonder if I finally WON'T see a "Sims" title.

Again with people who cry about Hellgate, yet show no personal reason as to why they hate the title other than use the same broad issues which get reused by everyone who has actually not played the game.

It's fun, it's as close to Diablo one can get. Take it or leave it, it's there for a reason for the time being.

...And a Nancy Drew game overtook WoW? Hell has frozen over.

Agreed- Hellgate is a blast! Not only that, upping my memory from 2 to 4 gigs has fixed every issue I had with this game to date (stuttering, load times, etc...)

I have mixed feelings about hellgate. In one situation its alot of fun in that just one more level till you go to bed way but its far broken when it comes to the games core features. Features that should be working to a workable even if buggy degree like the party system. Doesnt matter how many parties I enter, its frustration after frustration when they are always invisible forcing me to load another map just to load the "current" map. Sometimes i'll portal to them, once in a while it'll work but very rarely forcing me to triple port instead of double port.

Actual purchases of WoW should slowly decline over time. Only so many people can buy the game and it has been out for a long while.

You did see at one point in history that Battlefield 2 and 2142 were in the top ten too didn't you? All those bugs still aren't squashed, but overall the games were fun. History just repeats itself.

It's buggy, not shitty. That's why.

Edit: That doesn't excuse the bugs, btw. I'm just saying that even in its current state it's so addicting that people buy it - myself included. There are indeed a million and one things they need to improve on, but it's still a blast.

    Totally agreed. Buggy, not shitty.

As for my own personal experience has been smooth, I've had a few minor bugs after hours and hours of playtime but nothing game-breaking at all. And I think the major bugs (Engie bug, memory leak) have been patched out. Not perfect but not as bad as people make out.
