» More DNF details leaked

If the gameplay footage wasn't enough, more details from Duke Nukem Forever have been leaked to the public. According to this news post on Shacknews, 28 new screenshots have popped up on NoFrag, while ex-artist Mark Skelton has updated his blog with renders of characters you'll encounter in the game, enemies, and even Duke himself (warning: the last render isn't work safe).

Finally, if all that weren't enough, NoFrag has also posted the plot and overviews for the first 19 DNF levels. According to the spreadsheets, the game was set to take place across six main areas: Duke's "Lady Killer" casino, Las Vegas in general, Death Valley, Hoover Dam, a short strip club dream sequence filled with mini-games, and the EDF base.

Here's the description of the game's first three levels:
Duke Nukem Forever 1st Level
Major Plot Points: Duke plays his own video game beating the Cycloid Emperor while having sex with the Holsom Twins in the Lady Killer Casino penthouse suite prior to his talk show interview.
Non-standard gameplay: Cycloid Emperor Boss
New skills: Basic navigation, use items
New weapons: RPG, devastator, nuke pipe bombs
Time of Day: Sat, April 1st 3:00PM before the talk show
Level Exit: Defeat the Cycloid Emperor
Percent Complete: 80%

Duke Nukem Forever 2nd Level
Major Plot Points: After beating his own video game while having sex with the wholesome twins, Duke must play his part in a talk show at his own Lady Killer casino until the power goes out. Investigating the power disturbance, Duke acquires a jet pack from a young fan and jet packs up an elevator shaft. At the top Duke sees the alien mothership in the Vegas sky hovering over the Lady Killer. Duke quickly locates his throne riding it down to the secret Duke cave hidden in the middle of the huge casino.
Non-standard gameplay: Jet packing, talk show dialogue
New skills: Jet packing
New weapons:
Time of Day: Sat, April 1st 4:00PM talk show is taped
Level Exit: Sit in Duke throne
Percent Complete: 70%

Duke Nukem Forever 3rd Level
Major Plot Points: Riding the throne down to the Duke cave, Duke takes action powering up the plasma cannon with a backup system, then fires on the alien ship, which up till now has been non-aggressive. Duke manages to blow a massive hole through the mothership wounding it, but gets blown off the cannon in the process and passes out. Waking up several hours later to a full scale war with the aliens, Duke locates a ventilation shaft to gain access back inside the Lady Killer.
Non-standard gameplay: Remote control RC car, mothership turret battle
New skills: Throwing objects, strength tap, melee Duke Vision
New weapons: Pistol, Trip mines
New enemies: Assault troopers, attack ships, drop ships
Time of Day: Sat, April 1st 5:00PM knocked out by mothership explosion wake up at 8:00PM
Level Exit: Drop down a ventilation shaft
Percent Complete: 90%

There seems to be an easter egg if you go back through the picture using previous page/pictues button. I got a bunch of images that I didn't see going forward. It could the server was busy when I was going forward, but hey give it try.

If a level was 90% complete then I'm pretty sure it was time to scrap it and start all over.

Ha! I thought the exact same thing! It's what they did EVERY TIME they reached this level of completeness.

I just wish we could port those stripper models over to the Duke3D High Resolution Pack. It's current models could use a good makeover
