| | (Post a comment) » Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will support DirectX 11It's official. DICE's upcoming shooter, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will offer DirectX 11 graphics when it debuts this March. Up to this point DICE had considered their DX11 codepath for Bad Company 2 "experimental", but apparently ATI's been working with them and they're now at the point where they can officially offer DX11 graphics when the game debuts early next year.
As a result, ATI's list of DX11 apps has been updated as follows:

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat: Now
DiRT2: Dec 1st
Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Q1/10
Aliens vs. Predator: Q1/10
Lord of the Rings Online: Q1/10
Dungeons and Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited: 2010

Unigine Engine (Heaven Demo / Benchmark): Now

| | Should be a title worthy of a dx11 GPU upgrade maybe. It will probably take that long to get a dx11 card the way availability is looking right now.
