In an interview with Game Informer, BioWare's Casey Hudson explains the one scenario that would prevent you from importing your ME2 save game into ME3. | well, duh. it's not a spoiler 'cause they've been talking about how shepard can die pretty much since the game was announced. it'd be interesting if it actually meant anything, but it doesn't, considering you'd have to make a really pathetic effort to die. 99% of the people playing will be fine, in fact, you pretty much have to try to die on purpose.
i didn't know that it would prevent you from exporting your save, though. i was hoping there would be a new character that you use in ME3, even if everything else is the same. it's basically an elaborate GAME OVER scenario, pointless aside from telling you to try again. the headline is misleading.» Login to reply to this
