(Post a comment) » Devastation ReviewThere's a common thought among PR flaks in the industry whenever they hear the name Tom Chick. Listen! And understand! That terminator is out there. It can't be bargained with! It can't be reasoned with! It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your game is reviewed! With that cold, heartless, mechanical precision, Tom dissects Devastation. It's not pretty. Your mother probably doesn't want you reading anything this graphic. (hey, at least I didn't pun it, like 'Tominated' or something) | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

Smashing review, fantastically written and comical too!
Thanks for the heads up on this title, I was about to buy it and
thought ide read up on it first. My god and I'm glad I did, what a
dissapointment, afte all the hype the use of the Unreal 2 engine and
the development hours that have been spent on it, its a shame it
sucked so bad. Anyway, good Job Firingsquad, keep up the good work
with these great reviews.

Oh Dear God...
If I could get my money back for this game I would in a heartbeat.
Physics sucks, your own AI teammates will shoot AT YOU!! And the
developers for the game haven't issued a patch in MONTHS. If you
haven't bought this game yet, DON'T!!!

Majidok, Devastation isn't short. Even without having to replay the
levels where your AI buddies keep getting themselves killed, it's a
pretty long game. There are probably about twenty 'levels', all
told.
And actually In-Tel, I did review Gore, but for GameSpy. I would
have to say Gore is a better game simply because it's less
frustrating.

I havent played the game,But that review was really funny!
check this out:"He proceeds to meet various other resistance
fighters in bad outfits, all of whom have either bulging biceps or
bulging breasts"
or this"Storyline
It’s a standard-issue dystopia, but with guys peeing"!!!!!!
Anyway, the gaming scene is gettin trendy.First,it was
all-locations-galore after nolf2, that all games started using
snow-desert-some other earthly train or china-russia-middleeast
combo.now its peeing.I guess mafia inspired this one
Anyway, tom,is the game short? If it is,since it using unreal 2's
engine and the eye candy is good,I might wanna play it

But he didn't review Gore, he'd probably not even bother reviewing
that dried pile of dog crap.
