| | (Post a comment) » Far Cry Demo ReviewThe Far Cry demo is here but you don't know whether you should spend hours downloading this half-gigabyte monster. Maybe you just don't know what Far Cry is and why Ubi Soft is sure it can compete with Half-Life 2 and Doom III. Bold claims, aren't they? Jakub checks out the demo and whether or not the Crytek engine really has "the minerals" - and we've got 27 screenshots to boot! | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

the 1st time my parents announced to me they were getting divorced
it was xmas. that year my dad gave me some carmen sandiego games
for PC. we had a 486 at the time and they were old games, ones that
would run fine on an 8088 ... i never played them very much
although sometimes i felt like i was obligated to just because he
gave them to me. now whenever i think back on those carmen sandiego
games, i just have bad memories of my parents going to split and my
dad's unwanted gift

i had this english teacher in college who was really cool, i looked
up to him a lot. he was about 40 years old. one time he said that
he used to be really passionate about music when he was my age, but
now he doesn't care about music much anymore.
i really hope i don't lose my spark like that

i mean seriously what if my parents had moved into that other house
they were looking at when i was 8 instead of the one we did move
into, i would be a totally different person today in a totally
different situation

i just don't know how much longer i can take it. it seems like my
anger at her always builds up and then i take it all out on her and
she always says i "tear her down" every time i do that and
it's like we're starting all over every fcking $@%% month.
it's like, when the fck is she going to get better, when is this
situation going to get better
she says she doesn't control me but it is the stupidest fcking thing
i have ever heard

i feel really wrong today.
just really extremely deflated. my job is becoming too much to
bear.
i did a decent job on my song this week and have gotten some
positive comments so that is good
but i fear that i am annoying people on the main forums i go to and
i think i should let off a little bit, im thinking of maybe not
going there anymore for a while.
my family is great but i fear i have been a not so great father
lately, whenever it is my turn to watch my son a lot of times i will
fall asleep on the chair or the couch and just let him play by
himself, most of the time i just dont feel like doing anything with
him, is that bad?
