| | (Post a comment) » World War II Online Beginner's GuideSo you've been hooked by Jakub's World War II Online re-evaluation and wanted to give it a try. You dive in, mouse and keyboard ready... only to find out you need a joystick to drive tanks. Plus, your tank doesn't seem to want to fire. And you die all the time. On top of that, you don't understand what a forward base or army base or depot or anything else are. You'd ask for help, but you're a man. That's fine, we understand, we've got this guide up. If you want to read it, you know, we won't tell anyone. | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

just to clarify hehe.
the 110c4/b is exactly the same as the regular c4 in terms of
engines.
also the h81/p40 doesnt have 50mm guns. it has 2 .50 cal in the nose
and 4 .7.5mm guns in the wings. p39 has the exact same guns as the
h81/p40 but an additional 20mm cannon in the nose.
spit 1 also has 8 x .303 mgs not 6 :D.

Actuallly I am a fairly decent pilot in the game Brig Gen earned
throught the Luftwaffe. The biggest key to being successful in
flying is knowing your equipment and knowing the equipment of the
nme. Also situational awareness is just as big being that you
always want to make sure you know where everyone is at. The moment
you lose site of your target is the moment you are at a severe
disadvantage. If you are flying British planes such as the
Hurricane or the Spitfire. You need to be aware that you can
outturn the nme plane but not outrun or outclimb him. If you are
flying French such as the hawk 75 think of it as an aerobatic plane
which you can pull off some insane maneuvers but with a pea shooter
as a gun. While the dewo is more for the same type of BNZ tactics
that the luftwaffe will utilize.
Now if you are flying axis the main plane you will want to learn
early is the 110c. This plane has got a bad reputation of it being
a pig. Which it is effectionately called by us who love this plane
to death. It has the most powerful armorments of 2 20MM cannons in
the nose and 4 mg's in the nose to start the game of any plane. It
isn't as fast as a dewo but is faster then a hawk75. While against
the british the Spitfire will be able to out turn it and is a faster
plane itself. While the hurricane will only be able to turn with
it. The way to fight this plane is to bnz and try to keep your nme
either in front of you or else below you where he isn't any danger.
As for the 109E this plane will bring the most frustration out of
any new pilots. The plane itself has 2 mg's and 2 cannons mounted
in wing. The armaments can bring down a plane

I'm a terrible, terrible pilot. I simply could not give any
specific commentary on them other than what was in the hints and
tips - keeping the engine cool and using cannon to kill, not to
spam.
