Brandon: Would you happen to know if TCQ is in nForce4 SATA-II? The
people at WD told me to talk to nVidia.. the people at nVidia (at
least the person who responded to my email) doesn't know the
difference between the two (neither do I, all I know is that the
Raptors I have are not compatible with SATA-II's native command
queueing.. information I got from storagereview).

About SLI: its nice to see it can be disabled with a simple mouse
click!
The reason is multi monitor gaming... I'd assume it would be
possible to use two gfx card to stretch a game over two screens
without performance penalty? (compared to a single gfx card on a
single monitor ofcourse)
Considering this, it'd be cool with a motherboard with three x8 or
x16 PCI express ports - would make an awesome Race/Flightsim/FPS
setup! :-)

Well it may be as innocent as native command queuing was with
nForce3 250Gb: it's in there but they don't want to officially
announce support for it until the spec is finalized. We'll just have
to wait and see.

the next major AMD platform is coming out. I hope its not a
longhorn ways off :(

heh..basically nV doesn't want to pay Dolby Studios for a license to
implement the feature. The point of the Soundstorm itself is a
GREAT idea; awsome apu, decode/encode..so on a so forth. But
motherboard manufacturer's aren't going to want to pay nV for a
premium for the chip (Nforce's MPC-T chipset) It hurts their bottom
line. (Most consumer's wouldn't know what to do with it, besides
the audiophiles and enthusiasts..which don't make up a real good
sample of the persona purchasing the motherboards)
Im reading on various sites, people all up an arms about a feature
that nV has not shown interest since the first N-force. If nV had
made SoundStorm a standalone sound card then, it would have became
more widely available (since you could find it at BB, Compusa etc..)
instead left it up for motherboard manufacturer's. If they had only
let the market decide, then we wouldn't be seeing all this fuss
about a Audio processing units..and creative bashing
