 Tiger Woods Out...Until August!

| | (Post a comment) » Future of the PC: Intel & AMDLadies and gentlemen, in the past decade we've seen AMD claw its way to technical parity with Intel. Though differences exist in the quality of implementation at times, AMD's been firmly headed forward while Intel has hit a roadblock or two. But this isn't an article about AMD. This is an article about what the consequences of AMD's rise are going to be, the uncertainty the company has put into Intel's plan for our desktop future. | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

Thanks, just calling it like I see it and some calls are obvious. I
actually think Lord Orion is crazy/stupid enough to believe all of
this crap he posts. I just pre-ordered my 10 ghz chip, I think it
is going to be bundled with Team Fortress 2, rofl.

Well it is a good article. Unfortunately it does indeed fail to
mention the possible influence Microsoft is going to have if there
will be such a decision, as to what will replace X86.
My opinion, is that there should be an industry-and-user-led
consortium that oversees X86 instructions and possible replacements.
That is what I believe would better serve the huge X86 user base.
After all, the X86 or Wintel platform won over Macintosh because of
its openess and not because of its power.
Furthermore there should be a standard by which all x86 processors
are measured. This would really end the confusion over Megaheartz
and PR-ratings.

Lord Smacktard you are the dumbest motherfuker on these forumns and
that is really saying something. Whatever articles you are finding
about 10 ghz are terribly out of date. Intel was supposed to hit 10
ghz this year and undoubtedly you are reading terribly out of date
articles off the internet, but you are so fuking stupid I am sure
you go by the logic if you read it on the internet it must be true.
Lord Moron you will soon replace Yoshi as the most hated person in
these forumns with your blind fanboy comments. 10 ghz real soon,
rofl. Keep up your posts though Lord Dipshit because your stupidity
is hilarious.

Yes, because we all know Intel likes to sell their chips at $100
instead of $400.
Get a grip, as long as their are other companies like IBM, Sun and
Apple, Intel is in no danger being targeted by the "monopoly
breaking" government.
