 Tiger Woods Out...Until August!

| | (Post a comment) » Silent Hunter III ReviewThe simulation genre has been stale and weak for a long time, and no other category has suffered more than the submarine simulation. No longer! He has given us a sign - and it is not, I repeat not - a shoe, but rather the most breathtaking submarine simulation seen in a decade, finally a worthy successor to the mighty Aces of the Deep. | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

Why should I buy Silent Hunter III, when the developers dropped
support for Silent Hunter II so quick. Less then a year after
Silent Hunter II came out the video flickered like crazy, ubi-soft
didnt fix it and neither did NVidia, and everyone had the flickering
problem not just me.

Your the second person on this forums i agree with
RSR was the dogs bollocks man!
the depth of strategy the suspense the tactical ingenuity it was all
there please will some 1 do a modern version of RSR other sub sims
have tried but.... they alwasys fall short.
The only downside was the eye candy cos the game was numero uno!

Lol, I just went out and bought the game before even reading your
review. (based on the fact that you gave it an editor's choice) A
long time ago, a Yugoslavian friend of mine asked if I would split
the money on Jane's F-15. Well, when it came to my turn to play the
game I installed it and couldn't even land the plane in the
simulation. Maybe having a 2 button gravis joystick had something
to do with it. Anyways, now that I have a super computer, I'm
looking forward enjoying a nice SIM for once. :D

Played it, didn't like it. Stuck with Silent Service II until Aces
of the Deep came out.

Anyone remember WolfPack from BroderBund back in 93" Fudge I
played that game to death. I used to build "shoot em up"
convoys with nothing but tankers and a fully loaded sub inside a
harbor in the middle of nowhere :P
