(Post a comment) » FiringSquad Invitational Gaming Tournament at Computex 2004At last year's Computex, we held our first annual FiringSquad Invitational Tournament. Seven different motherboard manufacturers, as well as Shuttle, XGI, and NVIDIA were in attendance, duking it out to see who could build the fastest systems. At the same time, we also played quite a bit of EA's Battlefield Vietnam. Read all about the festivities from our first Invitational Tournament here! | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

It's all a conspiracy. There was no tournament last year, they're
just saying there was to garner support for a tournament this year.
Nobody wants to go to a "first annual" event, so they
skipped that one and just faked it. A conspiracy I tell ya!

Sure, but why now? Maybe to drum up additional support for the
event? I dunno.

Wheezy...it's all a prelude to the final paragraph of the article
and the 2005 Invitational June 2nd. Grab 1 Ridilin, smash with
spoon, snort, and focus.

I'm confused, too. If this happened in June 2004, then why are we
only getting the article 12 months later?

What the farg? An article about an even that took place nearly a
year ago? I'm getting a major case of deja vu - not that I read the
article before, but reading about "Ultimate Gamer" systems
with P4 3.2 and X800XT cards is sort of weird.
