I agree with most of the review, especially the part about how it is
more challenging than a "game" so to speak.
I'd like to add that I question some of the physics. It falls short
in terms of simulating rear wheel traction in terms of ever having
oversteer. Nearly every car you choose has understeer, including
what should be powerful rear wheel drive cars that should break the
rear loose under hard acceleration. The dirt tracks really show
this up -- you can NOT drive the dirt tracks in the rally car loose
and sliding like you would drive in a real rally or off road event;
instead you end up driving the dirt courses like you would drive a
wet pavement event in a car on racing slicks.
The physics also show their flaws in a large way in some of the
driving "tests" (or whatever they are called). Two that
stick in mind are 1) where you have to drive a 70's firebird/TransAm
around a track at high speed and the car is virtually undriveable at
any speed, and 2) one where you have to come down a hill into a
right with a Viper, where if you attempt to apply *any* braking with
any steering input, the car will simply go out of control.
Speaking of the driving tests, they tried to do something different
with having these green barriers you drive through (versus having
say a line on the road to show the racing line). These are a
collosal failure, since they encourage you to fixate on a fixed
object instead of keeping your eyes down the road, even when you
*know* this is a bad thing. You also tend to want to drive through
the middle of these green things, when to complete the tests on
some, you will never do it unless you jus

I thought the article was pretty good. I love GT4 but I am atleast
going to give Enthusia a try.
My only question... does anyone know if the reviewer played GT4 with
or without driving aids on? He seems to argue that Enthusia is more
realistic and thus harder than GT4... but there is a huge difference
between driving with and without driving aids in GT4. Once you turn
them off, the realism skyrockets... and it is much harder to drive,
especially anything with power and/or rear drive.

yes but you crit the game on controls not the gfx or the handling.
95% on the FF is still 95%.
We reckon that GT4 beats it in the long run. So maybe 87% for this?
