(Post a comment) » NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT Performance PreviewAfter successfully launching GeForce 7800 GTX earlier this summer what does NVIDIA do for an encore? Launch another GPU of course! Today NVIDIA introduces their least expensive high-end GeForce 7 card yet, the 7800 GT. See how this card performs in single-card and SLI configs against the popular 6800 GT, 6800 GT SLI, and of course the 7800 GTX and 6800 Ultra in this article! | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

Once again DOME-azz being you bought the 6800, then the 6800 GT
makes you very brilliant to everyone. Again the point is if ANYONE
who already owns a 16pipeline previous high-end card, why buy this
new card that has pretty much the same technology as the 6800
GT/Ultra, but with 8 more pixel pipelines. People won't notice any
differences if their 19" monitor only supports up to
1200xwhatever. So being most typical gamers don't have monitors
bigger than 19" why pay so much for a new card when their
current high end cards are only slightly inferior when the
resolution goes beyond 1600xwhatever. As everyone can see you are a
suker for upgrades regardless of brand and overall performance
value. Don't hate on me, because I'm not willing to upgrade every 6
months like your impulse dome-azz buying. Not everyone upgrades for
ONE GAME that basically resembles every other FPS you've ever
played! No thanks HL2 runs at 1024x768 with 4xAA and F.E.A.R. is
pretty much going to do the same and my current hardware. Also Doom
3 at 800x600 also looks quite nice just like all the screen shots
all over the Internet. So whats the difference at anything over the
typical resolution? Does it make the breast look much realistic and
the non-interactive environment look like its still plastic coated
at any other resolution. Oh you one of those that want to push your
hardware just for ease of mind that you can until a new game comes
out. I'm sure your money is so well spent that computer component
companies like ATi & Nvidia can count on you for every upgrade.
Now shut the funk up until you check out the previews on why not to
upgrade if ppl already have the prev

Nvidia and their BEHEMOTH space hogging vcards. Power hogging just
like Intel C.rap P.U. Yes, with these new 7800 they lowered the
power need but come one anytime the requirement is 580W recommended
PSU and two spare dongles its inefficient!! Plus their AA tech still
sux.

Yeah and you still one sorry gamer biatch! Do buy the new cards with
your 17" monitor you'll definately notice the difference.
F.E.A.R. runs pretty dang sweet just like HL2 without the upgrades.
While your vcard upgrades make you the DOME-azz talking about 8 more
pixal pipelines! Ha... games today can't even take full advantage of
the previous 16pipe cards at the typical resolutions. I bet you the
DOME-azz that bought the 6800 Ultra 512MB too. Talking about being
cheap heck yeah biatch. Its called VALUE and WORTH and SAVINGS.
Being you probably still live with your parents and girlfriendless
and still riding your 15yr old 10 speed please save the money and
buy some new clothes and get a new look cuz your raggeddy Dome-azz
must go. Yes your virtual GF needs to look smoother so buy the new
7800!

I'd try disabling virtual memory entirely. It is when virtually
memory is accessed you experience choppy gameplay. I have 2gb of
memory and have my virtual memory (page file) disable. It works
great with my system, 1gb might be enough to give a try. If you
have programs crash with out of memory errors then you will no to
turn it back on, but like I said with 2gb mine has worked fine,
fixed the 'lag' problem in battlefield 2, and seems more responsive
to just about anything including web browsing.

When all you use your computer for is watching pron and tossing off
then any cheap video card will do. I hate you it has never happened
to me so it must not be a problem idiots. I have built thousands of
computers over the years and ATI has put out several defective cards
and many defective drivers over the years. Just because it hasn't
happened to you doesn't mean it hasn't happened. You probably own
tnt ultra and a rage pro anyhow. Before you make a statement
insulting everybody else look in the mirror and see the reason you
hate the world loser.

$450 for the GT it's not a bad price, but I will wait to see what
ATi has coming out too. My X800XL is sweet, and the 7800GT is
looking good, but &@%! $450 is too much!!
