Dear Webmaster,
We have a hotel site for Europe that has a high Page Rank for our
directory/links pages
The value of the link exchange will be mutually beneficial, it
increases the traffic to your site. We would like to get our links
in a German directory and we will do the same for you. If you are
interested please contact me and I will give you all the relevant
details.
If we got the wrong person please pass this on to your webmaster so
he can deal with our request.
Best Regards,
Claudia Fischer.

Case: Aspire X-Dreamer II (with 350W/420W PSU) - $55
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3400+ Retail - $198
Cooling: included Retail HSF - $0
Motherboard: ASUS K8N4-E Deluxe - $96 (+ $4 24-pin adapter)
Memory: 1-GB Corsair Value PC3200 - $97
Hard Drive: 120GB Seagate Barracuda (8-MB) SATA/NCQ - $77
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT 128-MB (PCIe) - $143
Monitor: Envision EFT920 19" FS - $148
Sound Card: 8-Channel Integrated - $0
Speakers: Logitech X-530 6-Piece Speaker System - $46
CD/DVD-ROM: Toshiba SD-R1612 Combo Drive - $25
Communications: Onboard LAN - $0
Mouse: Logitech MX310 - $17
Keyboard: Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard - $15
Operating System: Windows XP Home - $73
Total: $994
You could also go with a socket 939 platform with the +3000. Use
linux and drop 73 dollars, if you already have a monitor, speakers,
and keyboard then your looking at 712 dollars. You could go with a
cheap X800 card for the same price as the 6600 GT. I like the Aspire
X-Dreamer cases and have never had a problem with thier power
supplies and they look cool. For me though I'd rather spend a few
extra dollars to go with an plain looking Antech case with an Antech
power supply. I wouldn't go with a no name power supply because then
you run the risk of frying everything else or causing random crashes
with memory that is not forgiving to voltage fluctuations.

Hmm lemme see, lanparty ut is 24$ more expensive than infinity, but
you wouldn't need the live!, you get the top dfi board with rounded
cables, extra bios etc. Now the live! costs 29$... I can't see a
reason to stick with your infinity+live combo.
Isn't a 160GB drive better value ($/gb)?
You can indeed get cheaper ram that's just as good as mentioned in a
previous post.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good, helpful article. I'm just pointing
out a couple things that I personally think are flawed. You know,
so you have more idea what your readers are looking for in the
future.

Well a socket 754 board isn't too bad at the moment. There are a few
754 boards that use a PCI-Express slot but if you are worried about
upgrading the CPU there are combo boards that have both 939 and 754
and Asrock also has a board with the CPU upgrade slot.
You could go from a 754 to an M2 simply by buying the slot socket
for it when it comes out. Sure the solution is cumbersome and can
make cooling difficult but if you want the best price now and be
able to upgrade in the future it's not such a bad idea.
As for a video card a 6600 or 6600GT is more than sutible for such a
budget rig. Maybee by going with a combo board, a Semperion, and a
6600 you could also buy yourself a mouse and keyboard and a monitor.

A nice article, and a good argument that the magic "value"
price should be dropped from $1000 to $800 or whatever.

Hahahah! yeah, i agree. the geforce 7800's have been noted to be cpu
limited even when paired with athlonFX's. the sempron can overclock,
yes, but not enough to unleash the 7800gt, IMHO. interesting one,
though.

A 7800GT with a Sempron! Madness. That GT would disconnect and
uninstall itself if it knew it was paired with a Sempron.....

Of course by looking around can get better deals on MB/CPUs, etc.
I just used standard newegg prices.
