Well, FEAR is alot better than H2. This is a definate. There is a
challege to your offense, with the ability to truely sneak up and
ambush your "the bad guys". H2 shot at you no matter the
circumstances,,,,,what the heck....where did that come from a mile
away.
Fear on the other hand has a challenge that was missing from H2.The
ability to think it out and progress. It may not be perfect but it
is alot better than H2. I have enjoyed FEAR with a passion that was
slowly disappearing from my PC gaming experiences. I have played
over 140 games and have still come to the reality that Outcast is my
favorite game of all time. I compare the challenge of that game to
present day games and walk away disillusioned by that game market of
today. Whatever happened to Outcast2? FFEAR brought me back to the
enjoyment i found in outcast with a full experience that was truly
enjoyed, but short lived. What is next? Lets hope the game
developers continue to create a challenge and not just eye candy.
FEAR should be rated much higher than what firing squad has given
it.
It TRULY beat out H2. So lets be honest and not stack the reviews. I
see no one has finished outcast at firingsquad or at least posted a
review? To bad....you missed an opportunity of creative genius for
its day.

Finally tired another single player game. So far, it seems just
like any other shooter. script starts, you kill a bunch of guys and
they try to creep you out by having books move, etc. Only played
around 3 hours, but go to the 'fat' dude that you gotta help out.
So far, 83% is sounding about right for this game. I doubt Quake4
SP will be much better, probably about =. Have not tired MP yet,
but I've heard it's like CS. ANyways, try and finish up the game
when i get home from work.
I can't remember if quake4 got a better score than FEAR, but i m
guessing quake4 would be little better, because of MP.
enjoy!

What were you looking at? Did you run the game at low settings?
Maybe the engine isn't as pretty as HL2 or D3, but it's one of the
best looking games out there.

Personally, I love it. I've nearly crapped myself several times
already! Very creepy! Great physics! Haven't seen the cloaked
ninja melee dudes yet, but heard about em already, should be nasty!
Definitely a candidate for GOTY!
