You can hardly compare the time and effort between making this full
stand-alone game, what with engine licencing and all, to what's
essentially more of a mod (despite being intended as- and released
as- a standalone and, sans Single Player, free game).
On a different note, racial differences worry me a bit. Perfect
balance is pretty much impossible. For example, the best (imo) Team
Fortress/CTF etc. maps are usually symmetrical. Not exactly the same
thing, but same concept.
Let the cries of "stArog BATTALTANK SI
OVARPOWARAD!!11oneeleven" begin :P

It's like drugs. The first "sample" is free and the rest
cost money after you get hooked on it. :) It's just good marketing.

"Seriously, what's with you guys? Like anyone spends millions
of dollars making a product so you can get it for free."
...Because the original ET was stand-alone and free. Asking if ET:
QW is pay or free is a valid question.

It's not free, it's gonna be commercial.
Seriously, what's with you guys? Like anyone spends millions of
dollars making a product so you can get it for free.
