» 5 unreleased Stone Temple Pilots songs for download

Hot sexy music. Actually, it's cool mellow music, very un-STP like, but still cool.

I liked Kid A. Some very invoking melodies in there, though it's
hardly their defining album. I can't really say much for Hail to
The Thief.

And yes, Tool is still around....their last album was phenominal.

Very true, but even if you were somebody that was completely
unbiased with regards to music in recent decades (say, someone over
50) they would even tell you that the level of talent and
originality has drastically plummeted, even from as little as a
decade ago.

I blame alot of it on the record companies. While they're busy
pointing fingers, taking children to court, and swearing up and down
that Mp3's are the cause of their declining music sales, nobodys
bothered to notice that record companies couldn't see talent if it
walked up and punched them in the face. All they're interested in
is whatever some senile old executive determines the "trendy
sound" is, and then finding bands that they think fit that
image.

Somebody forgot to tell them that the people decide what styles of
music will be popular at a given time. If they try to force their
hand, they're just gonna keep on losing sales. I don't think
anybody expected the grunge sound to hit like it did in the early
90's. And when it did, there wasn't much they could do about it,
regardless of how hard the 80's hairbands tried.

Unfortunately, these days there's nothing to choose from. It's
garbage or more garbage.

STP ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Does Velvet Revolver!!!!!!!!!!

Tool is still around? That's too bad.

And Radiohead??? While I must admit that their music is unique and
much is it is technically excellent, it's really really weird #$#$!$
up !$@@. It all comes back to Kid A..... What The %@$% Was
That?????? Was their even a single song on that album that was
listenable??? I don't know, they have some good stuff, but most of
what I've heard from them sounds like they're coked out on crack
with a side dose of heroin, and not a good way.

What we really need are more bands like The Northern Pikes :-D
