-Tons and tons of scripted sequences.
-Amazing sound, on par w/Max Payne 2
-Very fast frame rates on my AthlonXP2100, Radeon 9700.
-Now you can play some of the most grusome battles in WWII, ie Stalingrad.
-Brings you closer to a war feel than Metal of Honor.

-Graphics is ok, not a huge step from Medal of Honor.
-I feel like alot of things is purposely scripted for me, ie alot of times you'll know when the scripted sequence is comming.

This is an amazing game where it tries to diverge from Metal of Honor's missions. But the overall gameplay is the same. This one definetly has more scripted sequences, better graphics, sound and AI for sure. It's one up from Metal of Honor, but not quite a revolution. If they had made a Call of Duty out of the Doom3/Halflife2 engine, that'd be it.
There are sure alot of scripted events, but maybe too much of a good thing for me. Most times, my team would sit there waiting for me to move out in front, that's when they'd move. I know this is required so they won't run too far, but to me it's like "oh, the computer is waiting for me to pass point A so they can start script no. 3" So that kind of ruins the mood for me.
Other than that most of the time it will be a thrill ride. |
