Solid Motherboard (Ran with a bad PSU for months...)
Great windows BIOS flash feature, makes things easy
Good overclocking board for noobz
Accepts most non-crap ram
Has been running solid for about a year and a half now for me
Pretty good layout of connections
2 Ethernet ports, 1 gigabit

Wish there were more overclocking options
When you max out the ram (4gb) clock automatically reduces (though its the cpu's fault i think...)
Needs another USB port
AMD cpus are always located too close to the psu in most cases, i wonder when someone will fix this.... other than getting a case w/o the psu on top...
BIOS reset is located until the PCI slots and can be a pain for someone without super skinny fingers (no im not fat...)
Windows sucks (thats not anything new to hear now is it?)
some of the packaged software is total crap and shouldnt be installed, just install the update software, none of that security crap or the monitor

Great board if you are building a decent comp, works great with my athlon 3500+ overclocked to about 2.4ghz and ram timings uped to 2-3-2-2 with my lovely hyperx's
I have an ATI x800xt AIW runs superb on this mobo this is paired with an OOOOLD Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 (NOT ZS) |
