Though it's Obsolote and Nvidia no longer supports it(officially), you can still use it either by updating your PhysX drivers no further than 9.09.0814, or by hacking the latest PhysX drivers with a little Copy/Paste and some registry editing.
These were designed to automatically engage and accelerate PhysX engine games that would otherwise be calculated on the CPU.
Not recommended for newer GPU PhysX games like: Mafia II, Metro 2033, Sacred 2, Darkest of Days, Batman Arkham Asylum, Cryostasis. Works well with most other games not listed though.
This card is best for Budget Gamers, PhysX enthusiasts, or those looking to play some of the older Ageia PhysX games with PhysX enabled (Cellfactor, Switchball, Stoked Rider, GRAW, Infernal, Bet on Soldier). |
