- Overhaul game balancing with new units, heros, armor types, resources, food caps and item shops.
- Improved queue system which aids players to devote more time on combat micromanagement.
- Smarter creep AI which makes in game creeping more tricky.
- Full hotkey customisation.
- Map enhancements. (i.e. creep display, team colours etc)
- New background musics give a nice atmosphere.

- No significant improvement on the graphic engine.
- No effective way to stop player cheat.

Basically the duration of each battle is prolonged due to new heros, units and items, also to some extend, the 10+ food caps. And along with the new queue system, the multiplayer games are much more exciting to watch and play.
However at this stage the game is still too new for some special tactic to develop, and the racial balance is not yet perfect.
But expect a perfect balance within next few patches.
