After playing X-beyond the Frontier and X-Tension, and X2 soon to be released, Freelancer looks old and average. I remember reading previews some time ago and comapring the actual product with what was expected 2 years ago, im not looking at the same game. Instead of a realistic simulation of trading, building, exploring and fighting we received straight-on figing only. Some of the strategic features although present, are not done well enough to make a desireble impact on the gameplay. I was looking forward this game from the beginning, but i guess ill just have to save my money for something better. |
