Great story and singleplayer experience.
(a.k.a. Its only saving grace.)
Makes tomshardware website look stupid for giving it such a good review.
"I would mention major drawbacks of this game, but there's one problem: I haven't been able to find any." (Have they actually played the game?)

No cooperative play.
Multiplayer has already been done for two years and counting with 3rd party apps on XBox with no possibility of cheating.
You've probably played the single player with friends on XPBox because it is the single killer-app for M$ system. Way to mess up Halo on its original native platform M$!
Runs like a$$ if it runs at all; even on super systems. This can only be explained by poor coding on Gearbox's end. I mean it plays well at solid 60FPS on a 733Mhz machine with GF3ish video core on the XBox for crying out loud! Yet, it won't hardly run on a 3.0Ghz, Radeon 9800 monster above 1024x768 hardly!

M$ and Gearbox really let game players everywhere down on this one. Cooperative play not included is forgivable, but at least give us a game that's as good as the original. Was two years of development time not enough....?
60% for the game mainly because it does have great singleplayer. If you've never played Halo singleplayer it might be worth grabbing it from the bargain bin when it's either been patched sufficiently, or 4.0Ghz systems are a mid-range computer.
45% for the conversion to PC by Gearbox, because that's about the amount of work they did towards the product we all were hoping for.
