I stopped playing this game after one level due to performance problems and, to a greater extent, the negative reviews... and just recently came back to it. I enjoyed it immensely. I'm AMAZED that some of the reviews were so negative....contrast this with return to castle wolfenstein, which people gave high reviews, game of the year, etc, and it was one of the most boring and also one of the easiest games i've ever played (even on the most difficult setting). Unreal 2 has some quality innovation and scripting that isn't usually seen in an FPS (go play gundam chronicles if u need a refresher).
Anyway, I did a search on reviews after playing this game because I wanted to find the horrible one I read and comment on it...I dont believe I'd ever been to this site before, and I dont plan on coming back. The developers put a lot of work into a game that turned out pretty damn good and yet they lose money due to a site that has reviews seemingly written by someone recovering from MDMA withdrawl. |
