I have read all the professional reviews as I'm sure most of you have, and although I am pleased this game didn;t get the usual 'big game' scores..I do have to ask what game some of these reviewers were playing.
The last too games I've player were exact contrasts of one another...Unreal 2 is an excellent Single player game that most reviewers are complaining was not multiplayer...And then Command and Conquer Generals was a multiplayer game that had an atrocious single player campaign.
That being said wake up all you reviewers this is a fantastic single player FPS that was never promoted as a multiplayer game (ever heard of Unreal Tournament 2003?) I think most scores would come up 15 or 20 points if reviewers could get over this...not everyone wants multiplayer capabilities.
Anyway it has a decent story, clever level design and superb graphics and gameply. As I mentioned above it is much to short and too easy, and really not worth the $50 price tag. But for a few nights of enjoyment for me it was worth the price of admission...heres hoping we can get some good mods from players out there. In the meantime try the game its worth a look...forget these other reviewers if you like FPS games its definitely one of the better ones.
