-Lots of levels
-Good sound, same as previous COD's
-Some good use Scripting of events which tries to immerse you into the world, just like previous COD's.
-More WW2 battles!!!
| » Cons | | |
-There is virtually no new gameplay.
-the graphics are virtually the same as COD 1, you'd need to be very sharp to notice the difference between COD2 and COD1.
-so are the sounds.
-so is the look and feel of almost everything, including level loading, the first person view, the radar, bullet count, objectives etc.
-Feels like a rip off for them to call it COD 2 when most gamer would believe it as a mod.

Hopefully they will use a new graphics engine that will noticibly upgrade the graphics to upgrade the TIRED look and feel of this COD series. Immersion is quite a key especially in WW2 games because people wants to feel the fear/excitment/depression/scariness of war, and graphics is the best way to show it. This COD2 sure doens't add any new stuff to other COD's other than new levels.
If you're not tired of other COD's this could still be fun for you, but if you expect to have new stuff just because they slaped a "2" on the COD then you'll be dissapointed, is more like another modification. |
