I love the Dance Dance Revolution series for one reason, fun. First time players usually see this in the arcade, and almost always classify it as "gay" or "retarded". Give it a chance, get addicted, then buy the home versions.
If you could only have one US mix of DDR, you'll have to choose between this one and Supernova, but DDRMAX2 has been out longer than Supernova, so it doesn't have an advantage there.
Pretty much in a nutshell, DDRMAX2 offers new songs to the ever-longing DDR series. There is nothing to say about it other than a new interface from DDRMAX, but in reality it is still the same game with new songs.
One note is the timing issue, You have to set the sound options timing synch to +2 instead of 0. Konami screwed up with timings the song with the arrows on the screen, but it's all good once you fix this.
