This game could've gone somewhere if DICE would've improved major bugs.
The main bug in this game is all of the non-registering shots (the most annoying of all.) You know you just headshot a guy, but it decides to not register and in turn let him kill you. If you shoot anti-tank rockets at tanks, they only register 50% of the time. This is pathetic.
On the up side of the game, it is a blast to play. I shedded hours just flying planes around in the environment, that is one of the main fun factors of BF2. It's fun because of what it offers in terms of weapon selection/vehicle selection. Nothing beats running people over with a quick jeep, or blasting down groups of units with tank shells.
Again, it is just sad that bugs brought down the game. Horrible server listings annoy you to hell. The game runs like crap even with settings turned down. On highest settings, the game does look amazing, but plays like crap.
This game is great if you're willing to deal with the bugs and whatnot. If you can handle it, play it, you won't be sorry. I'll give it an 80 just because it is an updated version of the best game mode ever. See you on the Battlefield. |
