Pictures/scenery were good, but still doesn't hold a candle to the graphics displayed in IL-2 Sturmovik.

Though much better than CFS 1 or 2, CFS3's only notable improvement was in the area of a major graphics upgrade.
The missions are still set piece with little or no variance. Not much else was included/incorporated into the game from the original games. Ultimately, this was only an updated re-hash of CFS1/2 with a layer of newer graphics sprinkled on top.
