Engaging gameplay -- ending up spending far too much time playing the game.
Tech tree is morality dependant -- this is awesome.
Trade interface is good -- and the AI is a good trader.

Like the reviewer said -- combat -- too few ships (there are overlords and death stars) and the combat is simple

A great 4x game -- it is worth the money. You really have to play a large universe and good AI enemys to see its value.
