mhz ratio and price. only 50$ cheaper than Intel's 3.06 hyperthreading overclocking beast.

while a good chip it came out too late for most people who wanted the best and got the 3.06 intel. and with the intel 800mhz procs comin soon amd better have a good chip to manufacture soon (like athlon 64).
