The headphones I have been searching for lo these many years. I\'ve tried Sony, Boise, and several other less well know names. All disappointed, poor build, poor bass, wrong sound (AR\'s) and big time distortion (I like some bands LOUD).
Well the SR60\'s had it all, Big bass, max out the volume and no distortion, yet doesn\'t need an amp to sound sound great on my computer or mp3 player. The sound is crisp and clean. Light weight with plenty of cord for use with your computer. Very sturdy construction and they cost $70. I have bought much more expensive headphones but never did they sound this good.
Open air design lets everyone hear noise if you have them on loud. Similar to if you turned up the volume on your current headphones and sat them on the chair next to you. Very spartan design and build but very functional. Some peeps complain about the ear pads not being big and soft enough, I think they are fine tho. You can order extra foamy pads for $10 more.
